Who are Barney's Farm?

Barneys Farm have been producing some of the best cannabis strains in the world for 30 years and because of this they have a huge catalogue of genetics including multiple award winners.
Barneys was created when its founder Derry returned to Amsterdam in 1992 after spending 3 years in the Himalayas. Derry had been part of a small group of breeders that had spent their time collecting and breeding strains from across the Asia and the Middle East. The work undertaken in these 3 years gave Derry the knowledge and the genetics to start up Barneys Farm.
Fast forward to 2022 and Barneys Farm has grown into a large, sophisticated operation using the latest lab technology to allow their breeders to continue to innovate and produce some of the best cannabis seeds available in the world. Barneys have breeders and growers working in Europe, the Middle East and America constantly striving to create new genetics that are potent, flavourful and more consistent with each new development.  

Over the years Barneys Farm has created hundreds of strains, many of which have become staples within the cannabis scene and a select few that are now regarded with almost legendary status. Barney's say that Critical Kush became a best seller within weeks of its release and this something which we can confirm from first-hand experience at Natural Selection. Critical Kush was very clearly designed with growers in mind. The strain mixes the high THC levels of OG Kush for potency and the yields and structure of critical mass. The outcome of this cross is a strain that is a high yielding, easy to grow powerhouse that importantly is very consistent. It is the Ronseal of strains (it does exactly what it says on the tin). The quality of their work has earned a variety of awards including multiple Cannabis Cup wins for strains such as G13 Haze, Liberty Haze, Amnesia Haze, Willie Nelson, Cookies Kush, Pineapple Chunk and Tangerine Dream.  

More recently Barneys farm have turned their attention to creating their own versions of popular American genetics while sticking to their principles of customer focussed breeding. This has led to the creation of flavour packed, potent stains that maintain high yields and relatively short flowering times. Recent successes include Gorilla Zkittlez, Blue Gelato 41 and Runtz Muffin. All three of these strains feature solid yields and high THC levels. With more stains being released all the time adding to Barneys already extensive catalogue it is well worth checking in regularly to see what new and exciting weed strains they have created.
