Dr. Underground is a Spanish seed bank that work to preserve long lost strains and create new hybrids using the best genetics available from breeders such as TGA Subcool, Serious Seeds and Reeferman.
Dr. Underground started the search for this strain by trying to find a plants with a strong mango aroma and a powerful structure with rock-hard buds. They found what they were looking for with an Ed Rosenthall's Super Bud mother specially selected from the orignal Sensi Seeds for it indica characteristics and strong pineapple and mango aromas.
Various combinations were tried but none lived up to expectations until they found a special selected of a New York City Diesel plant from Soma Seeds which had the honour of becoming the mother. This diesel was chosen for its strong tropical notes which vary between mango, lemon and pineapple with undertones of that typical diesel gas. Brooklyn Mango is blessed with compact, hard buds which are covered in trichomes.
